This band is always a great favourite which is why they perform regularly at the Old Albion.
Steve Turner is an accomplished slide, steel, electric & acoustic guitarist. During his touring & recording career, Steve has played with Kirsty MacColl, Ralph McTell, Pete Murphy, Lloyd Green, Billie Jo Spears, the Bucket Boys, and many others.
As well as vocals, Willie Wilson is on drums, percussion and mandolin. He has played with the touring Pink Floyd, on the soundtrack of 'The Wall' and played on Dave Gilmour's solo albums. Willie has also performed with Lonnie Donegan, Syd Barrett, Hank Wangford, Al Stewart, Joe Brown, Ralph McTell and more.
Emma Spires (electric and double bass, vocals) - has performed with bands of various genres including Country, Blues, Rock, Folk & Gypsy Jazz and was part of Blues Connection who played support for Wilko Johnson and Little Feat. She has also played bass on UK tours with Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett from Little Feat, and with Phil Beer of Show Of Hands.
Tim Renwick (electric/acoustic guitars, vocals) - has had chart success with the Sutherland Brothers & Quiver as well as touring with Pink Floyd, Al Stewart, Mike & the Mechanics and Eric Clapton, which included the 1985 Live Aid concert from Philadelphia. Tim has a long musical association with Willie & Steve and joined the Hoodle in summer 2018.
